Let’s go through just a few reasons why I love cleo dresses.
1. Choices
Cleo has the best assortment of dresses to choose from. There is always a variety in length and style. Sleeves, no sleeves, maxi, midi, short lengths. You name it cleo has all the summer dresses you need.
2. Fit
Cleo carries dresses in both regular and petite fits which means I can find the dress that works best for me. Sometimes I like a petite fit and sometimes a regular fit depending on the style & length.
3. Pockets
You and I both know, pockets in dresses are THE BEST. Even if you don’t actually put something in the pocket, you just need a pocket. Cleo puts pockets in almost all of their dresses, because they get you (and me!).
One of the most important attributes of a good dress is versatility. I love a cleo dress that can be worn multiple ways for multiple occasions / events. Take, for example, a shirt dress - perfect for the office with a pump or pointy toe flat. Make it off-duty with your favourite sneaker. Undo the buttons and make it a topper over slim leg jeans or pants and a simple tank. Easy! Think about how you can layer overtop of your dress to make it versatile - denim jacket, blazer, cardigan, collared shirt. When you factor in shoe choice and mixing up your hair routine, you can spin your dress for office presentations, summer barbeques, graduations or running errands.
Keep in mind some of my favourite summer footwear to change up your dress look:
• espadrilles - always in style in my books and love that you can get them in any heel height
• sneakers - a must in my closet whether in white, a print or retro throwbacks like adidas stripes
• simple strappy heels - if you like heels, this is a must that will work for years & years, keep it neutral in beige or black for maximum versatility
• retro mules - trendy and comfy, retro mules in wood, faux leather or cork bring a cool vibe to your outfit
