Cleo.ca accepts the following payment options:
- Visa Debit
- American Express
- Cleo gift cards
We currently do not accept pre-paid credit or debit cards. Payment is processed at the time your order is placed. Multiple tender payment is permitted only when paying with a Cleo gift card in combination with a credit card.
For your protection, all credit card information submitted is encrypted when communicating with the bank and we do not store your credit card information.
Sometimes, credit card payments fail because of an incorrect expiry date, mis-entered digit in a credit card number or a mis-entered security code/CVS number. Entering the wrong billing address information can also cause the payment to fail. Your billing address should be entered exactly the same way it appears on your credit card statement.
If all your billing information looks correct, and your order fails to process, please contact your credit card provider for further assistance. Or, you can always place your order again using a different credit card.
Cleo Gift Cards
Now you can use your Cleo gift cards online! Simply follow the gift card payment option steps at checkout. You can use multiple gift cards to pay for your order, or use a portion of your current gift card balance.
Be sure to enter your gift card as the first step in your payment options at checkout, prior to selecting any other payment types. Please note that for transactions where a gift card is used as a tender type, the funds will be withdrawn from the gift card balance immediately after you place your order.
Applicable taxes will be applied to total merchandise ordered (GST & PST where applicable; HST where applicable). Taxes are charged based on the shipping address of your order. Where the law requires it, tax will also be applied to the shipping charge. We do not offer tax exemptions for age or status on our website. Please visit your nearest Cleo store to purchase with tax exemptions.
Due to tax rounding, in some cases the PST, GST and/or HST amount that appears on your billing statement may be slightly different than the amounts shown on your confirmation email and invoice.
Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors that may appear on our website.
Occasionally we'll send out promotional codes to our MyConnection members, email subscribers, and/or in store customers. Don't miss out on these extra savings opportunities.
Promotional codes let us know that a special offer should be applied to your order. Promotional codes may have special conditions or restrictions so double-check the code details in the email you received about it.
After you've added some items to your shopping bag and are ready to checkout, enter your promotional code in the space provided on the "my shopping bag page." Once you've entered the promotional code and clicked you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order. If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, an error message will let you know how to fix the problem before you can continue to check out.
In some cases you can enter more than one promotional code for an order.
1. Enter the first promotional code, and click "apply".
2. Next, enter the second promotional code and click "apply".
3. Complete your checkout process
Not all promotions can be combined. If you enter promotional codes that cannot be combined, we will apply the one that works out the best for you, and you can save the unused promotional code for another order.
Online promo codes are accepted at the time of purchase in accordance with the terms and conditions of the promotion. The item(s) being purchased must conform to the product details for the specified promotion. The expiry must be valid. Promo codes have no cash value. All promo redemptions are subject to the policy in effect at the time of redemption. Changes may be made to the promo code policy at any time and without notice. Cleo reserves the right to cancel online orders which involve duplication, manipulation or tampering of online promotional codes. Updated March 16th, 2016
