This practice aids in protecting and restoring earth's natural resources through soil health, water management, greenhouse gas emissions and climate resilience. Producing sustainable cotton fiber is better for the livelihood of the farmers, women's equality and people's health.
When you see the low impact badge along with 'Sustainable Cotton Fiber' noted, we have used Sustainable Cotton Fiber. This means the fibers used in this garment have been certified and support sustainable cotton farming.
Low impact processes better protect the environment. When a low impact process is used, consumption is significantly lessened in these three main areas: water, energy and chemical usage.
Using less water helps maintain this important natural resource. Reducing the use of chemicals betters the impact on the environment and the health of workers. By changing processes to use less water and chemicals, energy consumption is much lower, contributing to a cleaner environment.
